June 24, 2008

MTLEY CRE is the featured musical guest on tonight's (Tuesday, June 24) edition of CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman" airing on at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT. Photos of the performance, which was taped earlier today at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, can be found on the Wire Image web site.

MTLEY CRE played its first show in a year Sunday night (June 22) when it headlined the second day of the Heavy MTL festival in front of 22,500 fans at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Fan-filmed video footage of the song "Live Wire" recorded at the Heavy MTL festival can be viewed below (clip uploaded by YouTube user "klimbo666").

MTLEY CRE's new album, "Saints of Los Angeles", is loosely based on the band's memoir, "The Dirt", which was published in 2001. The CD is the first to feature all four original members of the CRE since 1997's "Generation Swine".

"Cre Fest" will kick off on July 1 in West Palm Beach, Florida, hitting 40 cities before wrapping up in late August.
